I used the search function but can't find the thing ... a while ago someone (@tarheelmatt maybe?) put a link to a web page where you could plug in what you were cooking for a chinese meal and it would generate a recipe. Can't find the thing, can anyone link it please?

You got my curiosity up, and I found this via teh googlez:
https://recipes.doctoryum.org/en/makers/stir-fry-maker
I used to cook chinese-style for most meals, its a great way to cook for one person w/o leftovers. A package of chicken breasts, or a steak, gives me enough protein for 3-4 meals, then add veggies (whatever looks freshest at the market, that day), and just by varying the sauces you could eat a totally-different tasting meal each day for 3-4 days. I don't use recipes anymore, it doesn't take too long to get a feel for how much of any ingredient to add.“All you need in this life is ignorance and confidence, and then success is sure.”

@jeffwit I think you're right about @Mattman3969 .
@Botch cheers, it was something like that. I remember the UI being less advanced. Maybe it's been upgraded or you've found an alternative.
@caliking it wasn't but an interesting read, thanks.

Coming in late one this. Tried searching around, and mostly came across sites like what Richard FL listed.
There was one site that is not ethnic specific. Supercook will find recipes based on ingredients, and if you put in some thing "Chinese" like "bok choy," you will get mostly Asian recipes. Or searches on "curry powder" & "tumeric" will likely get some Indian recipes.
