I go 400 direct. Time is really by visual and a small cut into the thickest part.Probably 12minutes +/-.

I soak my planks for 2 hours. I set around 400 to 425 on the Egg. I toast one side of the planks for about a minute, flip, oil the toasted side with a drizzle of olive oil, put the salmon on and cook for about 12 minutes or so to about "medium".

If you like the salmon more rare, reduce the cook time.

Yes..soak my plank about 1-2 hours. I used to toast one side, etc. but don't anymore.

My process for the Wife and oldest DD
-Soak plank 30 min to an hour.  The planks are pretty used so not sure it even helps
    -Season with Adams Jerk Seasoning
-Put on Raised indirect at 400 until IT 125 ~25 min usually
-On other side cook Filets raised direct for the youngest DD and myself

*I dont have anything against the salmon but hey why not eat the filet.

Just Vote- What if you could choose "none of the above" on an election ballot? Millions of Americans do just that, in effect, by not voting.  The result in 2016: "Nobody" won more counties, more states, and more electoral votes than either candidate for president.
