I don’t have one but isn’t the bottom vent still supposed to be under the front handle? I happened to see one with it under the hinge, still worked though.

Bands are on backwards.

The Egg will work with the vent positioned anywhere but most of us would rather have lower vent in the front where it's easy to see and adjust.Thank you,DarianGalveston Texas
