Sunday night cook. Gotta admit, steak was done on the Napoleon gasser. The infrared side burner sure is good for searing though!

Very nice. We got a spiralizer for the Kitchenaid mixer, but have not used it yet.

Oh MY! You are killing me! I've been living off of hospital cafeteria food this last week. I think I have "low egg-gloma" which I will try and fix tomorrow. Mrs. Bucky and I are taking a mental health day.
The best things in life are not things.

It’s a good attachment. Do you have the pasta maker?epcotisbest said:Very nice. We got a spiralizer for the Kitchenaid mixer, but have not used it yet.
These were pre-spiraled veggies we bought from Costco. The dressing was a recipe included on the packaging. Very good!
Between the Vitamix and Kitchenaid, we are running in the same circles. -
Sorry to hear that, friend. Rest up, and Egg on!bucky925 said:Oh MY! You are killing me! I've been living off of hospital cafeteria food this last week. I think I have "low egg-gloma" which I will try and fix tomorrow. Mrs. Bucky and I are taking a mental health day. -

No, don't have the pasta maker, but we are not much on pasta anyway. We use the Kitchenaid more than the Vitamix, but should use both more often. I got on a smoothie kick a couple of years ago, but was not making the healthiest of smoothies, so I stuck the Vitamix in the attic for awhile, but have it back down now.GrateEggspectations said:

I also have the stupid Margaritaville Concoction Maker and I don't even drink, just like gadgets I guess.

The Vitamix is killer for smoothies. We make them daily. If you’re still aiming for low cal/low carb, they can be very helpful in this regard. When my wife was pregnant, we made very convoluted smoothies with a ton of ingredients. Right now, we’re going simple with whey Isolate, Greek yoghurt, spinach (or spinach and kale), frozen berries and water. Low cal/low carb, high protein and easy.epcotisbest said:

That sounds like an interesting smoothie. What I was doing was throwing in every kind of fruit imaginable and some yogurt and I wound up making high cal/high carb smoothies and it really threw my sugar out of whack. My own fault, but I have to get real with my sugar and carb intake and will be trying to do some more low carb smoothies.GrateEggspectations said:

You can buy whey isolate made with stevia (e.g., Kaizen from Costco). Berries are pretty low carb too.epcotisbest said:

Great looking food. We have a spiralizer - and I just forget to get it out and use it.Coleman, Texas
Large BGE & Mini Max for the wok. A few old camp Dutch ovens and a wood fired oven. LSG 24” cabinet offset smoker. There are a few paella pans and a Patagonia cross in the barn. A curing chamber for bacterial transformation of meats...
"Bourbon slushies. Sure you can cook on the BGE without them, but why would you?"
