Chicken and Dino ribs

Cooking some Dino ribs and a whole chicken today for the games. Would having the chicken on a grid above the ribs affect the flavor and bark on ribs?

If I was doing that the ribs would be on top.Salado TX & 30A FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Just given a Mini to add to the herd.
