Beautiful. I have the round maple endgrain block in a similar thickness. It could be my eyes or your camera, but your board looks dry (as it's very light in colour). Have you oiled and then applied a wax/cream to the board? If not, I highly recommend it. The board will be exceptionally thirsty the first few weeks and months.
Also, aside from Boos' instructions (which you really should read), I'll mention that you shouldn't leave cut items on the board. I left cut cilantro just literally a few minutes too long and - BOOM - stain! -
If that's an induction stove, it's probably not going to heat up very well.

@GrateEggspectations you are certainly right about it being thirsty! This is the bottom, but the color has improved. Thanks for the tips. I have the oil and the board cream to seal it. I'll be "oiling my wood" nightly...

Sounds like you've got a great routine worked out.
A pic of mine for good measure....
You'll no doubt see what I mean about colour. Mine was treated a few weeks ago but winters here (Ottawa, Ontario, Canada) are extremely dry.
Enjoy, my friend. -
That is nice and will give you many years of service
