Yo ho Ho eggers,Went to visit the in-laws in Fredricksburg and that was close enough to man-ASS-ASS to warrant a trip to Dizzy Pig Headquarters and Store. Back today and couldn't wait to try out my two new rubs Jamaican Firewalk and Swamp Venom and one of the smoke woods I bought, peach. I'll let you know how everything turns out. For now, I'll let the pics do the talking.

Good stuff. I got some new rubs as well. Funny how several say to apply to the meat 24 hrs for maximum flavor.
I usually just throw it on as the egg warms up. How many of y'all apply the rub in advance? Does it make a difference?Milton, GA

Swamp Venom was REAL GOOD!
I usually rub my meat before lighting the egg. The steak got to soak up rub for 2 1/2 hours, the chix about half an hour.

Swamp Venom is excellent. I mix it with the original Dizzy Dust for ribs or pork butt.
