International meat delivery?

a friend was asking if there are any sites like SRF that deliver internationally (Switzerland).  He wants to send his BIL a gift.

    I highly doubt it simply due to transit times - if you could get past customs & all of that paperwork, you would still have to pay through the nose for 2-3 day shipping. We had a heck of a time trying to get product into Canada and finally just sent to upstate New York for the customer to pick up - that was cheaper and faster for them in the end. 

    Spices & Rubs would be a much easier and cheaper bet here

    That’s what I thought. Figured I’d ask. 
  • Over a decade ago my wife ordered a Prosciutto de Parma ham from Italy for my birthday.  It took over a month to make it to Texas.  We had a great time watching it's progress as it moved from country to country.  Sometimes it would be rejected for incorrect paperwork and sent back.  Eventually the ham arrived in perfect condition and with customs stamps and tags from several countries.
