Thanks! @lousubcap Last year I was able to use the Large and XL for two turkeys. I've since sold the XL and now doing 3 turkeys this year. One plain turkey, one injected turkey, and the other for a family who could use a little extra help this year. My mom picked up a ham and I told her that I'd take care of it.lousubcap said:@WeberWho - having fun with the sticks. Great looking birds.
Happy Thanksgiving.
It's nice having a little extra room in the smoker. Sides will be hitting the top rack in a little bit.

As I scroll through the lineup of eggcellent cooks I can't help but to notice breast and thigh orientation in the egg.
What's your preference? Breast toward the front or toward the rear/hinge?
Quite a conundrum eh

My MIL cooks the turkey every year and it’s always so dry but she thinks it’s great. If I do a turkey on the egg next year does it come out juicy?
-
g8golfer, I've only done spatchcocked turkeys. My family raves about them. It's the juiciest turkey we've ever had. You have to see it (or eat it) to believe it.
