I have been on vacation this week, so I went fishing yesterday and came home with a limit of crappie that I fried up tonight while preparing the turkey and ham for the egg for early tomorrow morning. Yum.

Man-oh-man! I grew up eating those fish and LOVED them! I will eat catfish, or a nice mess of large bluegill or red ear - but fried crappie is heaven in a pan!Re-gasketing the USA one yard at a time

That sounds great, but this fish story could use some photos. Crappies are delicious, for sure.Stillwater, MN

I live in Cleveland, TN and about 15 mins from the 58 boat ramp. I have caught a ton out of the Hiwassee, I really like to but some slabs of crappie on the egg and make crappie tacos! They are one of my favorite! Were you trolling?
