Costco Prime Brisket Score

It seems the butcher man was asleep at the wheel today at the Indy NE side Costco.  They were all marked as boneless Pork loin for $1.89/lb.  I guess that settles what to cook this weekend!

Damn, I bought the same one (14lbs) in Austin Costco Thur and paid $40.

Salado TX & 30A  FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Just given a Mini to add to the herd.

I picked up 3 of them.  I left 5 in there as a sacrifice to the brisky gods.

I suppose if a person had an exceptional level of integrity he mighta mentioned it to the folks cutting meat?

Not everyone would, but a lot would.

Guy I know recently sent a gun off to get some custom work done.  He ordered a custom part for the gun, which was installed on the gun by the shop he sent it to.  Someone didn't notice that and also put the part inside the shipping tube ($100 part) when they sent it back.  The guy called the shop and told them what had happened and asked what they wanted him to do - they said to keep it, thanked him for his honesty and sent him some freebie goodies (hat and a shirt) for being a good dude...
  • The least you could do would be to set  one of those tasting carts in Costco with a smoked pork loin sign

Related to this scenario, @DMW has one of the better honesty scores that I have read on the forum.  He and his Hasty Bake and I believe Amazon.
You just have to do the right thing.

Thanks @lousubcap, and that is correct on the Hasty Bake and Amazon:

I don't think I ever would have bought one, but it is now my favorite grill if it isn't raining or windy. Not my favorite smoker, but it's a grilling machine.
