reheating pulled porkwith Coke
I seem to recall messages that said to use real Coke to reheat pulled pork, /Can anyone tell if this is true and how does one do this ?
I followed elder wards step by step method for a pork butt this was for the second time and once again I was rewarded with a fantastic piece of pork. Thanks to Elder for taking time to share his knowledge and "wisdom" makes for really great eatin' !!!!!!

bob cannon,
I'm probably the guy who posts about it the most. Use the real (classic) Coca-Cola, none of the flavored Coke, nor diet and certainly NOT pepsi! I just put my pulled pork into a crock pot (up to 4#) and just 1 Coke, heat and serve, mixing and stirring from time to time. Surprisingly there is no aftertaste, nor sweetness. I also suggest that you don't tell people your secret because some people will turn up their noses - but it works, and works well IMHO!
Re-gasketing the USA one yard at a time -
RRP,[p]I agree, it works great. I use a Nesco elec roaster for reheating large qtys.
