Plate setter lifter

Options
I was starting a search for a plate setter lifter and saw an ad for a claw-type lifter that looked like it would work well.
The concept was similar to the Smokehouse claw, but it appeared to be a more robust design.
It appears that it's a European unit and I haven't found anyone that offers it in the U.S.
Has anybody seen them for sale anywhere ?

I always thought this one looked like a good idea. https://smokeware.com/collections/featured/products/the-lifter

Mostly, my PS is cold when I lift it so I've never bothered.

I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!

What size egg and is it in a table or nest? The claw is a great tool for the LBGE. Won’t work for XL. Smokeware lifter is my choice for XL. The Ott grid lifter and platesetter lifter are my choices for my LBGE in a nest with eggmates. I lift the grid with the grid lifter and hang it from the left mate and then lift the conveggtor with the PS lifter and hang it from the right mate.  Do all your fire starting business and then return as needed. If you don’t have a place to hang your grid or conveggtor, the claw and Smokeware lifters are very good tools. The Ott platesetter lifter isn’t rated for XL.

    Pg,
Thanks.  I've had my LBGE for 10 years.  It's in a nest.
I have a small table with a marble tile nearby for the grid, plate setter, etc.
In this case I cooked some breakfast sausage patties @ 400F first, then added the hickory chunks for a beef brisket.
I've done it many times before using some Wells Lamont welding gloves and it's always dicey, but this time I tried to hold the plate setter with one hand and drop the chunks onto the charcoal with the other.
If I can't find the heavy claw, I may go with your suggestion of the Ott.

Here is a link to that heavy duty claw:

The regular claw works great too.

I recommend using a Woo, I haven't actually touched my Plate Setter in many a year.
