Any Tips For A Rack Of Ribs On The MM?

That's it, just looking for some advice. Thought I'd set a rack of baby backs on the MiniMax wrapped like a crown roast and let 'em stew for a few hours nice and low.
Any advice/tips greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.

No MM here but go with the toothpick test for the win and you will be rewarded. I'm guessing with 250*F on the dome then you are in the 4-5 hour club. FWIW-Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. CHEETO (aka Agent Orange) makes Nixon look like a saint.

If I'm doing a rack on my MM I'll cut in half pre cook and let it go side by side.

Agree with @lousubcap, I haven't done ribs on MM but his timeline has been my experience on my large.
Do you have a plate setter for the MM, the meat is significantly closer to the flame in the MM so you want that buffer.
My next ribs ribs are going to be wrapped (gonna try butchers paper) at about the 3 hour mark to avoid the really dark crusty bark.
Id love to see the action shots of this cook -
You might find this helpful if you opt to cook more than one rack.

I do have the plate setter. I normally wrap mine but I'm not sure I will be able to if I do them the way I was planning to. I'll definitely take some pics and tag you.feef706 said:Agree with @lousubcap, I haven't done ribs on MM but his timeline has been my experience on my large.

That's pretty neat. My plan was to just see what I can do on the MM but if I were to do a few racks I'd probably just use the XL.GrateEggspectations said:You might find this helpful if you opt to cook more than one rack.

I realized this is what I'll have to do if I'm gonna 3-2-1 them.steel_egg said:If I'm doing a rack on my MM I'll cut in half pre cook and let it go side by side.
