First SMOBOT cook

Well, decided to purchase the SMOBOT....primarily for overnight Brisket cooks. I decided to give it a go with a simple spatchcock chicken cook, to get my feet wet using the SMOBOT. Sorry no pics of food this time, the chicken came out fantastic as always. Now for the real test, pulled the chicken off and programed the SMOBOT for 230....going to let it run for a few hours and see what we get.

Let it run for an additional 4.5 hrs after the chicken was finished.....temp set 230, and it was within 2 - 3 degrees the whole time........ ready for a long low and slow cook now!

I'm very happy with mine. The other weekend I left a pork butt on the egg and went out with friends decor a few hours. I liked that I could check on temperature.Michael
