Would like to try tacos on my large egg for a kids birthday party. Suggestions? Beef? Pork?

Usually when I do tacos I do chicken and skirt steak. Grilled peppers, onions and corn are usually crowd pleasers as well. Can't wait to see pics.XL & MM BGE, 36" Blackstone - Newport News, VA -

chopped brisket. Drench in Valentina's and toss on a skillet until sizzling. Serve with onions and cilantro and more Valentina's.

I use flat iron steak and cook it whole with dizzy pig fajitaish. You can make some grilled onion and pepper and go fajita way or just add whatever fixins you want. You won't be sorry. Enjoy!

I certainly have a craving for tacos after diving into this thread. Pulled pork is also great for tacos/nachos and can be done in advance, which might make for a less stressful situation closer to meal time.Stillwater, MN

What age kids at the kids birthday party and are you feeding many adults too?
I wouldn't go too spendy or fancy with kids, fajita style chicken or ground beef maybe.THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION TO THIS MATTER -
Bacon and shrimps with purple onion, garlic, red and yellow peppers.... If kids like that, if not then you can use arrachera, i think is called skirt steak.

Am enjoying an Asian-style taco as we speak. Soy-sriracha-honey based pulled pork with spicy slaw and avocado. Delish.

Thanks for all the replies! The birthday is for my 4 year old son so figured ground beef for the kids and chicken and skirt steak taco/fajita bar for the adults.

Ground chuck with some chorizo from the supermercado. A quarter lb of a good fatty chorizo per lb of beef would be a good starting point for the kiddos.

My kids (5 and 8) love carne asada tacos. I use thin cut NY strips and marinate in Goya Mojo Criollo. Marinade is amazing and also great with chicken for chicken tacos.
