I was at Meadow Creek BBQ in New Holland, PA, today - I was trying to convince them to carry Rockwood charcoal but they still aren't interested.  They said that the one they consider best is Blue Hog lump charcoal since it has large pieces and burns very well.  It wasn't listed in the Charcoal database so I decided to buy 1 bag to see what it was like.

I did also buy some Rockwood at Ace hardware for $24.95/bag and I see that Firecraft sells it now for that same price.  The Blues Hog was $21.95/17.5 poubd bag which brings it to almost exactly $24.95/20  pounds.

Has anyone used Blues Hog yet and have any comments?
