BGE platesetter on Vision Kamado

A friend of mine from work inherited a Vision Kamado grill from a neighbor who moved and couldn't take it with them. I haven't seen it but I suspect it does not have any kind of heat deflector analogous to the BGE platesetter. Can anyone tell me if a BGE platesetter will work in the Vision. It looks like she has a Vision model just about the same size as a large BGE. I've seen some pictures of the Vision and it doesn't look like it has the cutouts to accommodate the BGE platesetter, but I'm not sure it that prevents the platesetter from being used. Does the Vision manufacturer offer anything comparable to the platesetter?

Also, any other comments/observations for someone using the Vision? What other BGE accessories, etc. work with it.

Cant say for vision, but every one of my large egg accessories (platesetter, woo, adjustable rig) all work in my bubba keg kamado. It is the same diameter as the large.

A cheap option is a cheap Weber grate from lowes or Home Depot and a pizza stone. That's what I used on my old Akorn Kamado.

Get a woo from ceramic grill store with a stone. To hell with a conveggtor/plaCesetter.

I think that might work better. By the looks of the vision it has a taller firebox, so adding a plate setter would put the grid unnecessarily high in the dome and you would waste some space.

I have a medium vision with a woo and stone. Its the only way to go.
