I bought mine when they were first offered a few months ago. Love it.
I could have gotten one of the 28"-ers from Walmart when they had them on clearout prices ($99) many months ago but I didn't really want a cart mounted griddle. I wanted one that I could store in the deck box when not needed.
I could have gotten one of the 17"-ers on sale (around $75 as I recall) last year but it seemed rather small. When they came out with the 22" I thought it would be just right for my needs. I guess the question is if you can find a 17" on sale again is the 22" really worth the extra 50+ bucks. 17in is 78 bucks on amazon at the moment. FWIW

Yes it is worth it. I have a 17" and debated on the 22" but didn't order it. My Brother in law got the 22" and I have had some time to cook with it and make a comparison. The 22" has more control with 2 burners better grease management and more even heating. After using his I have corrected my mistake and ordered the 22" last night. The only reason I could see you would get the 17" to save the money but it's not worth it I will be selling mine and keeping the 22"
Let me know if you have specific questions. Be happy to help if I can.

I posted this in another Blackstone 22 thread:Actually the current price of $129 is less than the $139 I paid back in April. Plus the current offer includes the adapter hose for a 20# tank which would ordinarily cost another $15+/-.
I might buy another!

Sweet
I never opened my 28" Walmart special, intending to flip it and get the 22", which quickly sold out. This morning I hear it's back in stock but see the price at $200 (after shipping and tax), but within a few hours, drops down to $129 plus a $20 (value) adapter hose? I pulled the trigger. I figure I won't have any trouble selling the 28" on CL.

I pulled the trigger! This site is costing me a whole of change!

I saw it today on HSN on sale for $130! Had it and a cover in my cart, but closed it. I WANT one, but I don't think I really NEED another griddle. It comes with an adapter for a 20# tank.

I ordered Thursday night and my order shipped yesterday.

Called them this morning. Before I got my question out, he explained how 10000 orders were incorrectly cancelled and they would still fulfill it. He said it affected orders on friday.

Got my cover, not a grill. They seriously messed up my order and made promises that is was ok when I called the day of order. Finally got someone that gave me a $75 credit and the original sale price when/if they come back in stock. Will put the grill at $50ish. Im not sure if they will come back in stock tho.
Glad for those they got their order. Looks like a sweet grill. -
