Great documentary on Netflix

We watched "Ella Brennan, Commanding the Table" on Netflix last night. It's a great show about her and her family, restaurant owners in New Orleans. Commanders Palace is where Paul Prudhome and Emerill were both head chefs. It's an engaging and enjoyable way to spend 90 minutes, enjoy!

We went to Mr B's Bistro when we were down there at Christmas, it was kinda hit and miss, not bad, just some dishes were great but many were just good. I'm heading back to Commander's Palace next time we're there. SO many choices in that town!...

Very interesting documentary.
I've never been to Commander's Palace. I hope to go there my next trip down to New Orleans.

Thanks for the recommendation, @platypusrex . Watched it last night with my wife, who I met in NOLA about a billion years ago at Mardi Gras (yup, that happens . . .). Tremendous movie, touching on all the things we like in the city we love best of all. 4 thumbs up -- way up!! -- from the HendersonTRKing household!

We eat there a couple times a year. Doesn't get much better than that.

Friend of ours, Eman Loubier, was a sous chef there for years, left and opened Dante's Kitchen, which is an awesome place to eat in New Orleans.

I thought the same thing when I was there, I think we are going back the second week of July.
I may very well just get the oysters........they are that good.
