I really like my blackstone but I would also have a look at the Camp Chef 30 inch model. It is a little more expensive but it seems to have a better design for the grease trough and and pan. The grease channel on the blackstone is pretty shallow and the pan is pretty small. If you are cooking a lot of food (like bacon) the shallow channel can be a pain.
Now the downside is it the camp chef is smaller (600 square inches vs 720) and has lower BTU burners.

It is a smaller portable unit and it is porcelain enameled.

It wasn't priced. So I had dude scan it. When he said 99. I teared up a bit. Fought the urge to give him a hug. And bought it. The 36 right by it was priced at regular price.slovelad said:

Good Score..I have searched every Walmart on-line within a 2 hour drive and can not find the 28 inch in stock. Looks like the 17 is available at all

Every Walmart I've called looking for one when people were buying the 28" for $60-$70 wouldn't price match other Walmart stores in the area. My friend bought one for $50 with a receipt and tried going to other Walmart stores in person to price match. No dice.
