SRF/double R?

i got an email for a SRF sale but it's on RR stuff. I've BEEN considering a brisket buy and was wondering if anyone tried the RR vs the SRF. I can't find anything around town that's consistent.

My mistake. Email said up to 30% off 4th favorites. I clicked on that and took me to the group and that was part of it. I initially thought it would update in the cart. Oh well!
does anyone have any insight on those?

I haven't tried the RR brisket. I have cooked the SRF wagyu black. Honestly I don't think I could pull the trigger on an RR brisket at full price. With shipping it is going to come out to around $11 a lb and it is just choice grade beef. If you don't have other options I would consider it but I would look around and see if you can find a prime brisket locally.  I found a source for CAB Prime here in GA. It is $6-$7 a lb regularly but often goes on sale for $4 a lb.

You could use this and see if any stores sell it in your area:

Which came first the chicken or the egg?  I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.

@SmokeyPitt are you referring to Patton's??  Have you compared their CAB Prime to Costco Prime? I've only had Costco brisket so I'm curious what you think...

@GoooDawgs - you are correct I am referring to Patton's...thanks to the PSA thread you started.

I haven't tried a Costco prime brisket yet. I have heard they are making their way to GA finally but I haven't had a chance to pick one up.
