Fathers Day

I just got the Fathers Day Sale email from ThermoWorks. I was hoping they'd have a knockout sale on the Thermopen Classic but it looks like it isn't going to happen for me. If any of you see any killer sales on anything, let me know. My wife and kids need some ideas. I'm sure someone else's wife and kids need ideas too.

    This has nothing to do with Egg-related gifts, but if you are the theme park type and like roller coasters, going to Busch Gardens or Kings Dominion (VA), Father's Day is the very best day to go. When the kids were younger, we went several years in a row on Father's Day and I walked onto all of the coasters. And some, I would just stay on and ride two or three times.  Loved it.

    I do like roller coasters. But I'm thinking cooking related. I'm looking at a Javelin Pro now. I was thinking about the Thermopen but I don't want to spend that much and it doesn't look like they are going to put it on sale. That Javelin is 50 bucks and it will serve my needs. Maybe they will even have a sale.

    If you're going to get a smokeware cap, see if you can get it etched with his name, or initials, or something personal.   A few people on here have them etched, not sure from where, but would be a personalized thing he would notice everyday.
