Hey everyone, there is a mini Max for sale on a local FB group for $225. The guy broke the plate setter but will include a pizza stone. Seems like a sweet deal, any thoughts? Thanks in advance!

It will cook a medium sized turkey, 10 lb brisket, big chicken, 6-8 nice size burgers, whatever you can get on it. Get a wine cork, drill a small hole longways thru it, and push the thermo probe thru it to space it off. Will keep probe from poking whatever your cooking. That's a great price, and as has been said platesetter is about useless. Get a woo and stone and don't look back.frankc623 said:Can you cook a lot in it?? -
Depends on what you mean by "a lot" but generally yes, if you have a second level of cooking. My rig is custom made, if you have the opportunity though go for the Ceramic Grill Store multi-level rig.frankc623 said:Can you cook a lot in it??
The last shot is of four double cut pork chops as a dinner for four. I've got another setup that I'm trialing that has all four chops on the bottom, with veg being cooked on the top shelf.
