Well boys and girls...
@Possumtrot and @The_Stache were kind enough to take the day and drive from Nashville TN to ST Louis MO and back to pick up an order from @stlcharcoal.
There was also a bag and box of goodies that is down on my garage prep station area. Along with another box from @RRP and Tom from The Ceramic Grill Store.
After a few garage beers with the unloading team, it looks like we are getting closer to our goal!
We are going to try and have a night to teach some of the upcoming deploying crew for dinner to teach them how to use their Egg and get some pics!!

@doubleegger thanks for the reminder! I just emailed my contact up at 5th group. I never heard back from them after they deployed (they aren't back yet) but I have been ate up with work so it kind of slipped my mind. I'll see if I can't get us a good news story from them.
@Gulfcoastguy We may need to elect a new person to champion the 2018 drive. I can provide the contacts but my company is about to do a huge campaign (online training for active shooters to include prevention and response kits) so you can imagine given the current state of things that my spring and summer is going to be full throttle.
Depending on the report we get back from the SF guys we may want to also consider getting one to the guys "in the box" preparing for training to go downrange. They are in about as deplorable conditions (except the whole people trying to kill them thing) but with the ability to get more charcoal fairly easily if they run out."Brought to you by bourbon, bacon, and a series of questionable life decisions."

Yes they were delivered and the guys were very happy to have them. I have yet to receive any photos of the guys using the grills but have been assured that they getting frequent use, I will shake the bushes again to see if we can come up with a couple pictures. That being said, it's hard getting pictures from our guys for even official business, SF Soldiers tend to be a little shy of the camera.
