Lumberjack Pellets

Recently read of this product on a BBQ site. Anyone used this or anything similar for Egging? Thanx.

Some people sprinkle them among the lump like wood chips. But I think a better approach would be to get an Amazin Smoker Tube from Amazon and use that in the egg for the pellets. Plenty of youtube videos on using the smoker and pellets though last time i looked there weren't any using it with an egg. But the principle should be the same as using it with a pellet smoker.

I'm not sure on this. I'm new to the amazen smoker and it will not stay lit the second a fire is lit around it. Maybe the fire burns up all the oxygen? I have the maze though. not the tube. If anyone has a method to keep this thing lit near a fire, please let me know. It also goes out if I use it in the gasser with one burner on low. Otherwise it will smoke for hours and hours just fine
