Thanks for the helpful replies to my earlier questions, and thanks for replies to questions I didn't ask, but found before asking. This forum is a great resource. The BGE was assembled late yesterday (Fri), first cook will be tonight: chicken legs.

Photos of BGE and CGS order. Not all of the CGS order was part of the combo package, as I did some add-ons. Figuring out how all the CGS pieces and parts go together and are used will be fun.
