    I used JB weld to seal a hole on my drip pan ( aluminum hot water heater drip pan) over a year ago....have never had any kind of issue or leak at all.  I think unless you just want to invest some cash...try the JB weld on the PS.   If nothing else, you can use it as a backup if you should ever need it.

    I've heard many people say they have repaired eggs ceramics with JB weld.  I wouldn't dismiss that thought too quickly.

    So I used High Temp JB Weld to mend the platesetter. I did this twice. However it never really got a great bond to the platesetter, and it came apart again. So today I ordered my an AR combo rig from CGS. Looking forward to getting started with the new setup.

    I also upgraded to the SS Smokeware cap. I highly recommend.

    Very nice. You will really like having all the options of the AR.
    Even if you only use it for cooking raised direct it's worth the money.

    Maybe do ceramic grill store instead of new plate setter
