Brother Blind.....I have to go with rolling in the sac with your lady....but those look outstanding. Never had them myself.Ellijay GA with a Medium & MiniMax

I have never tried ramps. However, both of my parents were raised in the mountains of North Carolina. Both have told me about eating them regularly when they were young. Its looks like I'll be making a trip to purchase ramps this weekend to try with several pork chops.

Do you buy them at a specialty grocery? Somewhere else? Not sure if they're available in my area (Tampa bay)blind99 said:
@thetrim I buy them. If you forage them it's important not to take out too many or they can't regrow. I think it's one of those weird plants that is really hard or impossible to grow or plant yourself. Can't beat nature!thetrim said:Can you buy Ramps commercially or do you have to rummage thru the woods for them. BTW my fav grilled veggie is asparagus=======================================

@thetrim Whole Foods has been most consistent about getting them in, but I've found them randomly at other grocers too. You may have to ask a few people at the store because even at Whole Foods some of the produce staff don't know about them. Theyre worth looking for though, good luck!Chicago, IL - Large and Small BGE - Weber Gasser and Kettle
