Georgia Mountain Eggfest...What to expect?

My wife and I have cooked at this fest since the first one, we love it and are cooking again this year.

It's the best fest in our opinion, very family friendly, it's setup along the paved walkway under the oak trees where they have the Georgia Mountain fair, as you stroll along there will be cooks on your right and left preparing some of the best food you will ever have, you can eat as much as you want so DON'T eat breakfast before you come. Come early so you don't miss out on some of the breakfast foods.

The Friday night meet and greet is included in the cost of your tasters ticket and is a good old fashion GIANT pot luck dinner, the Fairgrounds provides pulled pork and a couple of briskets for the meet & greet and most people bring a side dish although we always have so much food left at the end if you can't bring a side it's not a problem and please don't feel guilty.

You can purchase your tickets at the gate or online before the fest.

You can bring a cooler with what ever beverages you want, the Fair Grounds will be selling water and sodas. Adult beverages are OK.

They have two real bathrooms that are constantly maintained through the day, no porta potty's.

Hiawassee Hardware is the Big Green Egg Dealer and they bring every BGE accessory they have in there store to the fest and set up a large BGE store on site. They also have some very good demo prices on demo Egg's.
