Yesterday I cooked a Cornish Hen for the second time using RRP's method, 50 mins Breastside up and flipped for 20 at 350 dome.
Results were pretty good, used Tsunami Spin for the rub.

Looks good, nice color. Love Cornish Hens at my house. almost as good as quail, much easier to get, and you don't have to make a good shot.

We like them stuffed with rice and sometimes wrapped in bacon.

Salado TX & 30A FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Just given a Mini to add to the herd. -
@Mickey, Now THAT...

...looks nice! So much better than your carbonized wangs!
Love the bacon touch. Just picked up a couple of game hens yesterday, Will have to add a slice or two.
BTW, I get two meals from a game hen. Wound up with seven from that 4 1/2 lb bird last week. I know you were just dyin' to know.
I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!

Is that like a bathing suit for modesty sake so the bird ain't necked or does the bacon really add a flavor?Mickey said:
