Thermoworks Smoke tip of the day

First of all Happy Easter.
Ok. Got tired of having the Smoke display unit sliding around on it's little stand when I insert, move or remove the food. Noticed the magnets on the back of the display unit so I mounted a junction box plate to the deck railing within reach of the Egg and problem solved. See pics.

Great idea. I did something similar using fender washers screwed to my table to mount a magnetic based goose neck light.
Re-gasketing the USA one yard at a time -
I did the same thing with a piece of 12 gauge.
I went with double the size so the thermopen and triple timer have a spot too.

Those little attention to detail touches are what makes Thermoworks stuff the bomb! The side of my fridge is where my Dot, Extra Loud Timer and Timestick all get stored. I want a Smoke so bad, but waiting till they release the green version. Because it's all gotta match...
