    @pagman ... When you're cooking along at 250 degrees in a large egg, the fire will go out, on average, when there is one pound of lump left in the pit.   At 350 degrees more will be consumed 'cuz the fire is larger.  But, at 250 it's hard for the fire to fan out and consume that last pound.  Looking at what's left in the KAB, I'd guess that to be a little less than two pounds of lump.  You had, at best, three more hours of cooking at 250 degrees.

    If you're a belt and suspenders person, you'll put more in the egg next time.  Lump is to an egger like altitude is to a pilot ... more is better!!!
