Halfmoon cast iron rings

I'm interested in getting a slip cast iron set up for my large egg. I want cast iron griddle on one side and a grill on the other... Does any one know what ring they have in this photo?

You can do this for much less by purchasing a 1/2 moon BGE grill/griddle and placing it on you existing SS cooking grid. It's not magic.

Yep but not if I wanted to raise the cook surface with out using a platesetterpgprescott said:You can do this for much less by purchasing a 1/2 moon BGE grill/griddle and placing it on you existing SS cooking grid. It's not magic. -
Yep. But you could get one of these

Now you can do multi level direct or indirect. Use the griddle or not. Use the drip pan/indirect shield or not.
They also have 1/2 baking stones if you like those. Still cheaper and just as good or better. Good luck either way. -
How do you even know you can do that but not know what it is???? Hmm. Me believe something fishy here.noveggske said:

be careful with vertical spacing. on the kjoe divide and conquer there really isn't enough room between top and bottom grids to use a full grid below. it's only about 3-1/2" between grids.
for high heat (blackening steaks) cast iron griddles work best on or inside the fire ring where they can better trap and absorb the energy coming off the lump.
you might look at the bayou classic griddle, link to it on Amazon.
