Sunday Fun Day...Steaks, Basketball and Beer!

Decided to cook up some steaks...nothing fancy, just a little olive oil, salt and pepper. Seared them on the CI and finished up top. Enjoy and happy Sunday!
Decided to use the large...not sure why, it just felt right at the time lol...
Got the egg to about 625 then put the steaks on the CI.
Nice and crusty....baking away.
All done!
Please excuse the messy cutting board in the photo.....but it was time to eat! No left overs...but I did cut off a small piece for the Dog! Lol

Great setup and cook. Where did you get that grate system. Love the half moon platesetter for dual zone cooking.

The games were good today. I feel like we may watched the best game with NC vs. KY...man what an ending.
The grate system/set up came from the CGS (Ceramic Grill Store). They have everything one would need for Kamado cooking. The 1/2 stone setup does a great job of creating a dual zone cooking area.
