New competition rib cutting board

My 16yo son has been woodworking for just under a year now. Made lots of end grain and edge grain cutting boards along with other projects that people asked him to do. He made this for me to use at a competition in April.

Thanks guys! He has come a long way. He has done a few craft shows and does well selling his stuff.
He pairs up with his friend who takes 50cal shells and makes them into bottle openers.
He he just finished this for a friend of ours

Really nice work! I'm a sucker for walnut. Reminds me of a hand carved travelling chess set from Poland I received as a special gift. My nephew and I have some good battles.
