    I've never tried this brand but it seems pretty expensive. Rockwood from Firecraft is much cheaper and shipping is free if you spend over $99.

    As above regarding ordering lump from firecraft.  Here's a link: http://www.firecraft.com  .  If you decide to go with firecraft and the >$99  free shipping, I would suggest you order 6 bags of charcoal as they ship best in 3 bags/heavy duty shipping box.  FWIW-

    Another of the new imported lumps.  I still prefer to support American made products when I can.  Good old American Rockwood is actually looking pretty cost effective compared to this!  It's interesting seeing the new imports that are hitting the market - seems like they are trying to fill the void left after Ozark Oak shut down.

    I agree on both counts! I wonder how long I should chance selling my SEVERAL stashed bags of Ozark Oak before eggers no longer recognize the name brand and their beloved reputation! =) OTOH I suppose I might be the first dude to appear on Antique Road Show with all my bags in tow!  =)
