Seems Amazon is running a promotion today. If you make a purchase over $50 of items being sold by Amazon use the code BIGTHANKS to save $8.62 you can only use it once. But if u and the wife each have accounts you can each use it. Seems I have 64 eneloop AA batteries on the way.

Just did the same......good idea!!
Many years ago, when Microsoft introduced Bing, they had a 30% rebate when you bought something online that was found by the Bing product finder. So, all you had to do was Bing search an eBay item number, link to it through Bing, then buy it, and you would get 30% back in 6-8 weeks. Tons of people were buying gold coins and all kinds of stuff. It was awesome.

@stlcharcoal 30% gold coins would be up there with 30% off rockwood. Would be a hard choice :( but I think I'd have to go with the gold.

Help out a charity while you shop Amazon. I use Amazon Smiles to help the Appalachian Bear Rescue.

We have 5 days left in Oklahoma before Amazon starts collecting sales tax on behalf of the state. State revenues from oil and gas were cut in half the last 2 years so to help catch up the Governor made a deal with Amazon, they think it will add $120 million in tax revenue.

We got hit in Missouri first of Feb. Word is they're opening a warehouse up at the old Ford plant site. So now I'll so what others have done, find it on Amazon, then buy it on ebay or from an Amazon merchant is another state.ibanda said:We have 5 days left in Oklahoma before Amazon starts collecting sales tax on behalf of the state. I just wish Smile was available on the mobile app. I try and remember to add stuff to my cart and wait until later to order, but it's easy to forget.Dave in Florida said:Help out a charity while you shop Amazon. I use Amazon Smiles to help the Appalachian Bear Rescue.

I'm a day late. Look at that - if I'm on the forum it costs me $, and if I stay away it costs me money.Phoenix

Surely you have been claiming the Amazon purchases on your state taxes though right?ibanda said:We have 5 days left in Oklahoma before Amazon starts collecting sales tax on behalf of the state.
