We went with the steak! A quick bath in Moore's while the egg heated up...and then seasoned with garlic powder, black pepper, and pepper tree black magic.

Outstanding. I like that SRF doesn't do the pinwheel.

Not to partially hi-jack but look at the width of the SRF caps compared to the Costco pinwheels-a world of difference. FWIW-
Edit: here's thread where you can create your own (cut of beef likely won't be in the SRF category but still a good way to enjoy a cap.)

Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. -
@gonepostal is that pepper tree seasoning from Montgomery, Al.?Extra Large, Large, DigiQII, Thermapen, Adjustable Rig

@mwatts @gonepostal This is one of my favorites from Montgomery, AL. http://misrubins.com/ This is the old Penny Profit black magic recipe. It is awesome!

Great cook brother! All the talk about seasonings is great. On a fine cut like that, only Kosher salt and fresh ground black pepper required. And @lousubcap gives a good idea.Sandy Springs & Dawsonville Ga

@mwatts - Yes it is. I grew up in and still work in Montgomery. And here lately...try to keep a container of their seasoning on hand at all times.Wetumpka, Alabama

@Hairless_Hand - I haven't tried the old penny profit yet but will be picking up a bottle the next time i run across it in the store. You probably also know that the old Hardin's seasoning has resurfaced and is in all the local stores as well.Wetumpka, Alabama

Easy choice. You can't eat roses!

@gonepostal Penny Profit meat market is long gone but their black magic seasoning lives on as Ms. Rubins. I think Renfroe's at east chase carries it. Speaking of Montgomery, do you ever go to Hamburger King? That is the burger by which I measure all others. I have travelled all over the place eating burgers and that one is still the king.

I love hamburger king. I agreed that it's like none others. I haven't been in a while but need to add it to the list.Extra Large, Large, DigiQII, Thermapen, Adjustable Rig
