Rutland Gasket

We just moved, and to move the large I had to take the dome off, so I was thinking it was a good time to change out the gasket.  I know there have been dozens of threads on the topic, but are these the right two things to but to install the Rutland gasket?

    No.  Best source for the gasket is @RRP        Get the gasket from him and then follow his detailed instructions.  Best and easiest way.

    I suggest we refer to the Rutland in the future as the RRP or RRP (Rutland), just saying....

    I was about to say the same. 

    I have 2 sitting that have been sitting on my desk for weeks. I really need to take a warm day and pop them on.

    Just so other folks know, it is not necessary to remove the dome to install a gasket. Most folks install a Rutland on the base only and with the dome in its normal open position, this is easily done. Sure, if you're going to remove the dome for some other reason and were planning to replace the gasket, you might as well do it then. But it is quite easy to do it with the dome in place.

    I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!
