Thermopop is off.....

Have noticed my Thermopop had not been giving me accurate readings the last several months. My fish was overdone but was reading 119 tonight (in three separate pieces, taken in several places for each piece).

Has anyone else experienced this? If so, what did you do? I would anticipate you can't simply calibrate these at home.

You will need to contact customer service and probably send it back for reconditioning

Check your Thermopop in boiling water and an ice bath to confirm it's actually off.

@paqman: You read my mind. While I knew about the boots, I thought they were aftermarket products that would be readily available on Amazon or eBay. Unfortunately, I only discovered this was not the case after placing my order for the MK4, so I then ordered a boot and payed the shipping once again.

Thanks for the suggestion though!

@paqman: It appeared the horse had left the barn too quickly - I only ordered the boot after already having received confirmation that the MK4 had been shipped. Live and learn.
