Boos Cutting Board: Part 2

Some may remember I had Boos end grain board come warped BNIB. Boos would not warranty it. They do not warranty warped boards, even though it was brand new never used.
Luckily, Amazon took it back with no issues.
I got a replacement. Unfortunaty, the replacement had a spit in a glue seem (now three splits).
I contacted Boos and after pics of split and proof of purchase they are sending me a warranty replacement.
Hopefully, third time is a charm. Moral of story, keep proof of purchsse and they will warranty splits.

More patience with them than I would have. Hope it works out.Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. CHEETO (aka Agent Orange) makes Nixon look like a saint.

I think the moral might be don't buy them from a big factory. Lots of small shops where these are hand made by fine woodworkers. Or buy a used board where it's past the initial failure period.______________________________________________I love lamp..

I don't have any. I'm told that decency is not a moral unless it it ordained by a higher power.Ozzie_Isaac said:

However many views your post gets will equal that many customers that take their money else where. At a minimum. Bad customer service travels fast by word of mouth.VA Beach

I love morals! I cook them in butter. We can find them around here in the spring when the soil temp reaches the right #. They are delicious.nolaegghead said:

Several folks on the forum bought the 20x15x3.5" Michigan Maple edge grain chopping blocks a year or so back. @Photo Egg and @theyolksonyou come to mind.
What has your experience been with that board? It was almost half the price of a Boos board.

So far my board has been perfect. It's heavy but still looks like new.Jeepster47 said:Several folks on the forum bought the 20x15x3.5" Michigan Maple edge grain chopping blocks a year or so back. @Photo Egg and @theyolksonyou come to mind.

I purchased my Boos through Costco. They are fantastic for returns. Last year, we had a one year old patio umbrella break on us. Replacement without receipt.
