Hello All!!
i was hoping you could help me with a question I have. I'm cooking a few meals for some good friends that are having a second child so as we all know time will be limited in the first few weeks. So my question is If i was to make ribs and vac-pack and freeze them can they be reheated and still come out ok? If yes how would you guys do it?
would love some input from you guys and gals
Thanks,

Far from optimal, but in this case I would give it a try. I would reheat in a foil packet with apple juice at 350 for 20 minutes after thawing.*******Owner of a large and a beloved mini in Philadelphia

Works well, I've done it when I cook too many. The ribs won't be at their absolute peak, but with a new baby, good chance the best thing your friends eat for a few weeks and they won't remember anyway.

Ive done it with pretty decent results.

I always cook a extra rack or two. Then vacuum pack them. Then when we are ready to eat, we just thaw them and heat in the bag in boiling water. They are still very good.
