You must live somewhere pretty warm for yours to still be alive. Mine killed off about 3 weeks ago.

Phoenix, Arizona....this stuff grows like crazy when its hot in summer and is growing at a nice clip in winter as long as it gets plenty of sun...
Today, i get to try out my new weedeater and lawn mower as the grass needs to be cut.... -
I grow several herbs indoors in a south facing bay window. Basil, thyme, oregano, scallions and rosemary. Year round. Just the 4-6" pots from the grocery store. The window happens to be in my living room, but hey, what else is that room for?
I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!

I have a friend in colorado who does the same thing, except the herbs he grows are for medicinal purposes...Carolina Q said:I grow several herbs indoors in a south facing bay window. We grow a lot of basil - but mine died weeks ago. I'm envious. Enjoy!Coleman, Texas
Large BGE & Mini Max for the wok. A few old camp Dutch ovens and a wood fired oven. LSG 24” cabinet offset smoker. There are a few paella pans and a Patagonia cross in the barn. A curing chamber for bacterial transformation of meats...
"Bourbon slushies. Sure you can cook on the BGE without them, but why would you?"

Took a few sprigs of basil to mix in with tomato sauce and pasta. Nice fresh taste.

@westernbbq that's a great idea, and I'm going to copy you. I have no green thumb at all, but I could take care of a pot for the sake of pizza. thanks.

@blasting. I bought two plants at home depot for $3.99 each, i think...they may have been $4.99 each. Put them in the terra cotta pots with some soil that was laying around, put em in the sun and kept a decent, but not excessive supply of water on them and man do they ever grow, even with my limited gardening skills
