    That's only a part of the picture John.[p]Sam (Papasam) and Dianne (jus' Fer Fun) got call ups for 9th place Chicken and 9th place Pork as well as finishing 8th overall. They also got a call up for Dessert I believe. I can't remember which one it was because all 3 of her "other" entries should have been winners.[p]I managed to get 3rd in Pork, which was pretty cool.[p]The best part was there were 5 teams that were cooking on all EGGs and about 6 other teams that had an EGG or 2 that were there for cooking chicken and finishing stuff off. Basically 20% of the teams that were there had at least 1 EGG. [p]We were the main sponsor for the Event so Big Green Egg stuff was everywhere. We provided 3 Large EGG set ups for the Grand Champion, Reserve Champion, and another they auctioned off for Charity. We also gave every team a bag of BGE Lump. Everywhere you looked you either saw a bag of charcoal, an EGG or 2 or a sign with Big Green Egg on it.[p]It was the Super Bowl of Big Green Egg competition cooking.[p]We all had a blast also and even had a little mini fest like after party last night that Sam and Diane hosted for us. (Happy 39th Anniversary you two!!!)

    Bobby-Q, On top of cooking a walk winnig butt, I can say that there should have been a catagory for beef tenderloin. The one that you cooked Sat. night would have gotten you at the stage again. Congrats to the jus-fer-fun team of Diane and Sam for their showing. Yes Sam, I meant to put your names in that order.

    ccrider,we still on the road but you got the names in the right order. Bobby did turn out a winning product Saturday evening.
    I beieve we're on the edge of a Dillard Eggfest. I think we all had a great time. I'll get back when I get home.[p]Poppasam
