Reheating frozen Vac Sealed Chili??

Never tried this. What's the best method? Simmering water? Or simmering water until it thaws out and place in a crock pot on low?

Microwave oven works fine. Chili is pretty forgiving. Almost anything that adds heat works. Tends to fall between the grates on an egg, so I'd avoid that.

I'm a fan of hot tubing chili - which is my preference for most leftovers.

What I do and I do a lot of soup! is thaw and then place the bag(s) in a Dutch oven and warm on the stove. After all the plastic in a FS is food save.Re-gasketing the USA one yard at a time
