Turkey & Ham cook at the same time?

I'm planning on cooking a small turkey and ham at the same time for Christmas dinner. Any thoughts or tips from anyone who's done this before?

Timing is everything, the ham is really just a 'warming' process and will finish before the turkey, have a cooler prepped and ready for holding purposes.
Not sure if you've given it a thought, but a Bourbon Praline Smoked Ham would be awesome - See attached video, and of course you can make adjustments to make this recipe your own.
