New to the Egg/ first cook

Hi everyone. I'm new to the egg, and the forum. Cooked my first whole chicken last night. Indirect at 350 for 1.5 hrs. I used a small amount of cherry and apple chips. Rubbed chicken with melted butter, and a rub a friend made. Turned out the best I've ever had. Sorry for got to take pictures. Will try to be better next time

I discovered my gasket wasn't sealing properly after my first cook, make sure to double check it just in case!Cumming, GA -

It may be a non-issue for you, next time you fire up just check for smoke leaking from the sides. There's the dollar bill test where you can check that it's sealing tight.
