Just tried Ragin' River last night for the first time - I bought it because I was looking for a poultry specific rub and I have to say it does not disappoint! The smell while it was cooking was amazing and the flavor profile worked perfectly with the bird.
Chris, aka "Nature Boy," said he made the blend up for salmon, but was surprised how popular it became. I went thru an all things w. Ragin' River period. Eggs, buttered toast, green beans, pineapple. Great stuff

Don't do it! It's an endless sinkhole. OK, now that I got the warning out of the way.

My favorite seasons from most used to least used, and their best place to use (though sometimes I'll mix these with other non-DP seasonings for variety)
-Raising The Steaks - Steak, Brisket
-Red eye express - ABTs, chicken breast
-Dizzy Dust - BBQ ribs, Pulled Pork, pretty much anything low and slow
-Cow Lick - Burgers and Chili
-Pineapple head - Ice cream, grilled peaches, grilled pineapple
-Shaking the tree - Chicken thighs, spatchcock chicken.
-Happy Nancy - the only thing my [youngish] kids will eat. They will not eat anything with even the mildest bit of pepper. Which pretty much every other dizzy pig seasoning has

Raging river and swamp venom I haven't found a good use for.

Raising the Steaks is my go-to for ... Steaks. Pineapple Head is a must. Can't recall anything it didn't taste good on... Even bologna sandwiches.

They're all good though. I've tried most of them and have not been disappointed.
