They advertise that you can fit 2- 20lb. turkeys in a XL, so if you spatchcocked one, I would think any size would fit easily. Turkeys only get so big.Cherry Hill, NJ

You could probably fit a 50 pounder in there with no issues.Dunedin, FL

I have fit 2 12lb spatched turkeys on my XL before. On one grid. So any size you can find, you can cook.XL, Small, Mini & Mini Max Green Egg, Shirley Fab Trailer, 6 gal and 2.5 gal Cajun Fryers, BlueStar 60" Range, 48" Lonestar Grillz Santa Maria, Alto Shaam 1200s, Gozney Dome, Gateway 55g Drum

Mai bet you could even fit Tyson on there ... For 6k -
I've done a 25lb turkey spatchocked style. It fit, but was tight once it was all laid out.

@Thatgrimguy -- since you say you've done (2) 12# spatchcocked turkey. How tight of a fit was it? I have (2) 14.5# that I want to spatchcock.
Got pic? So I can sort out. I'd like to put some pan underneath at least to collect some juice for gravy.

The biggest I have done was a 20 pound Spatched and I had room to spare. My job takes me out of the country this Thanksgiving so I roasted a 14.5 pounder before my wife and I left for Atlantis in the Bahamas. Here is the bird at 135 in the breast, I took it to 155 white and 172 dark and it was very goodBig_Green_Craig said:I've done a 25lb turkey spatchocked style. So that's a 14.5 pounders? Looks like I may need to cut legs off and put around.Grillmagic said:

So it was a tight squeeze but managed to do (2) 14.5 pounders, and am able to put in a pan underneath to catch dripping for gravy. This is done with adjustable rig.
Sorry no after picture. I took em out and but the family in house worked fast... cut them up before I thought about taking pictures.
This time I just did plain salt and baking soda -- following seriouseats.com recipe.
